Asian-inspired steak sandwich
The preparation of the Asian-inspired steak sandwich begins with the vegetables. Slice the spring onions, leeks, carrots, cucumber, and pak choi into thin strips and place them in a large mixing bowl along with the bean sprouts. Remove the seeds from the chilies, slice them, and add them to the vegetables.
In a separate bowl, mix the finely chopped coriander with lime juice. Season with pepper, add the mirin and crushed garlic, pour in the water, and salt to taste. Pour the marinade over the prepared vegetables, toss everything together, and refrigerate to rest.
Cut the cleaned pork tenderloin lengthwise in several places to form a 2-3 cm thick slice. Similarly, open the turkey breast. Season both meats with salt and pepper, and spread sriracha on them. Brush one side with sesame oil and the other with half of the peanut oil. Grill the meats over the embers, turning frequently, for about 20 minutes. If necessary, drizzle with the remaining peanut oil during cooking.
For assembly, cut the flatbread in half and toast it on the grill. Butter it and spread mayonnaise on both sides. Fill with sliced meats and marinated vegetables, then close with the top of the flatbread.
