Teriyaki pork skewers with peanut broccoli

Before preparing the teriyaki pork skewers, first blanch the broccoli, let it sit for about 2 minutes, then drain and break it into florets. For the larger pieces, cut them in half and sear the cut sides on the grill plate with a little cooking oil.

For the marinade, mix honey with fish sauce, salt, pepper, and the zest and juice of the lime. Pour this mixture over the grilled broccoli and toss to coat.

For the salsa, finely chop the red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro. Place them in a bowl, squeeze lime juice over them, add olive oil, five-spice powder, salt, pepper, and mix well.

Mix the ground meat with finely chopped onion, salt, pepper, and teriyaki sauce. Divide the mixture into four portions and press it onto the skewers. Sear the pork skewers on the grill plate with a little cooking oil, then during the last half minute, brush them with a glaze made from honey and teriyaki sauce, letting it caramelize just slightly.

For serving, place the broccoli on a plate, sprinkle with chopped peanuts, add the skewers, and spoon some salsa over the top.
